So what else has a man been doing? Copious mixing, I'm gonna catalogue my stuff here in a slightly more useful form than my Mixcloud page, as keeping track of my mixes has become a bit more tricky (also, some are on YouTube). Anyway here's my latest and one of my favourites so far (I really enjoy trying to blend cross-genre music, and it usually goes horribly wrong... but sometimes you get it and it's just cool (not saying I did here by the way ;) there are some standard cock-ups but IMO it's not too shabby overall).

Agent Elf live. Hariginal combat shorts Scheme Boy in the corner ;)
Agent Elf... once upon a time, they made Kingston-upon-Thames their floozy. Infamous, their reputation spread far and wide... some say as far as Chessington. Known for their offbeat and usually hardcore electronic music influence on otherwise intricate yet melodic metal, they were quite the live show for those who knew ;)

Before they split in 2011, Cubed was released: a 4-track EP recorded live. I stumbled across this in my room the other day and instantaneously simultaneously remembered the tunes, and knew I had to lay them down in a mix. So this mix has 3 of them, and the rest is quite eclectic too. Mixing metal tunes is nobodies idea of fun, you have to sort out some serious EQ business. Anyway, Agent Elf never getting signed was one of the first indicators to me that the music industry might  not be particularly fair. Heh.Still, they got a song on one of the GTA radio stations...

We also have some of the relentless Ronald Jenkees - who's suspiciously large (we talking Robert Johnson magnitude here) natural talent is ridiculously fun to do live edits with it. Let it be known, however, that I completely understand always always sound better to me than to anyone else but... they're probably not going anywhere for a while until the novelty wears off a bit :D.

Got a Pantera tune, a classical piece (Adagio in D Minor), a smidge of grime and lots of Subscape - another chronically underrated (or at least not talked about or played out enough) artist. Manages that fine line between a melody so pleasing that it'd lighten most tunes to a sickening level, yet they're always drawn right back by the filthy basslines. Enough talking, have a look at the Playlist and then (hopefully) press play :)

Oh and P.S...
HADDAWAY.
